reality-vision

Reality vision: [as seen in San Diego] After a 3 year hiatus, San Diego's public architecture awards (Orchids & Onions) returns. Here, at the retrospective inauguration, not so many people next to the 'art'.

just-a-thought

An almost uncanny (Duchampian?) contextual connection, with ipod dancer dancing in the mist of carwash water (speckled-colorized like brick), punky hair swaying like a palm leaf, pointing in unison with the framing lamp post. Can architecture be like this, sometime, for someone?

just-a-thought

Yesterday I met Kirkos, an environmental artist [here you see a picture of one of his 'labyrinths']. Ephemeral, diagrammatic, 'modernist'. Is this architecture?

just-a-thought

Recently, Art Center students were asked to re-visualize their school building. This shows an interesting range of 'architectural perception'.
